Take an up-close look at La Torretta Del Lago’s incredible golf course.

Total golf course yardage:  TBD (approx 7000 yards)

Adventure with a view.

Majestic trees and undulating greens combine with well-placed bunkers and water hazards to create a course that’s both scenic and challenging. Views of La Torretta’s signature tower also help set the mood for a day of luxury golf.

#1 is a tight fairway.
Start it off with a dogleg left into a well-bunkered and elevated green. Leave it short or miss it right and you’ll spend some time in the sand. Watch out for the fairway. If you miss it left or right, you’ll be in the trees with a native pine straw lie-in.

#2 tests your irons.
This challenging par 3 offers no room behind its tight green. The safe shot is to play it short in order to avoid the sand.

#3 is a great hole.
It has water down the left side and is protected by a bunker. Be warned though, it’s also very tight up around the green. Native hardwoods line both sides of the hole.

#4 gives you a chance to rip it off the tee.
This hole opens up a little and allows you to roll it down the fairway just short of the green.  Don’t hook or you will find yourself in the trees, hitting over water into the green, which is protected on the right side by a few bunkers.

Turn around and hit #5 over water.
Take the time to place your shot. A few bunkers are carefully placed short of the green to catch those long drives. Hook it and you’ll find yourself hitting out of the hardwoods, over the water to the green.

#6 is another par 3 that will test your skills.
It is a straight shot into a very well bunkered green that doesn’t allow any room for error. You may easily find yourself in the sand again unless you play it short and roll it up on the green. This is a tough birdie hole.

Grip it and rip it on #7.
This hole will challenge you with water all the way down on the left, surrounded by trees and more trees. Bunkers protect the front right of the green.

#8 follows suit and plays with water on the left.
The goal here? To hit into an elevated green with water creeping into play. There are no beaches on this hole.

#9 takes you to the halfway point.
This hole has a tight fairway lined with pine trees. If you miss it you’ll be playing off the pine straw into a green with water on the left and bunkers on the right. It’s a huge green with dramatic elevation change. When the pin is cut left, just roll your shot in the center and watch it make its way to the cup.

The back nine starts with some room to play.

#10 Again, more trees line both sides of the hole and another green is protected by bunkers.
The tenth hole is a long par 4 that requires a left to right tee shot. The tee shot is described on the left by a series of three sand bunkers that flank the fair-
way. The large green is guarded on the left by three more sand bunkers, but is open in the front and right for “run-up” shots. The putting surface is softly
contoured and slopes from left to right.

#11 is another challenging par 3.
It has water down the entire left side. Leave your shot short and you will roll straight into the water with no hope but to make bogey.

Get ready for a blind tee shot on #12.
Your best bet is to smack it straight and let it roll. This is a great birdie hole with no tricks. Just play it smart and straight. Two bunkers protect the green from those long drives and a there is a large oak tree on the right side. Also, watch out for the big bunker tight to the right side of the green.

#13 leads you uphill and into a small green.
A pot bunker sits on the left and there is no room for error in the back of the green. Trees protect it at 100 yards out. Don’t miss it, or you’ll find another stroke on the scorecard.

#14 is another straight par 3.
All you have to do is hit it over a few more bunkers and avoid the beach on the right. Hit to the center and you get your par. Or, miss that tee shot and you can count on a bogey.

#15 is a short hole.
It has more sand on the left and water on the right in the landing area. If you can place the shot in the center of the fairway, you have a great chance for birdie. Watch out for the water just short of the green. If you leave that shot short, you may end up with a very wet golf ball.

#16 is another tree-lined hole.
It takes a dogleg right with fairway bunkers to catch those tee shots drifting left, and water on the left leading into the green. Bunkers surround the backside of the green and a steep front takes you into the water.

#17 picks up where #16 left off.
You have a shot with water down the left side and then a turn into pine trees. Miss it left and you’re in trouble. A steep mound greets you on the left side in the trees and a bunker waits for your ball. Be safe and carry it right. There’s plenty of room on that side to work with.

#18 is a spectacular finishing hole.
It all starts with another blind tee shot. Get it up over the hill and your ball will coast all the way home. An elevated green awaits and a large bunker protects you from the lake to the right. This picturesque hole is surrounded by pine trees and native pine straw.
