Eco-Friendly
A resort can only be as beautiful as the land it inhabits.
Knowing that, we go to great lengths to make sure everything we do is as eco-friendly as possible - from running our own self-contained recycling program and a state-of-the-art water treatment facility to donating 15-25 cents per occupied room to a local charity, twice a year, if a guest decides not to have their room made up with fresh bed linens or bath towels. Living in this lovely environment is not a luxury we take lightly.
A few other ways in which we strive to be responsible:
- Innovative “Smart Que” lighting in meeting rooms and break-out rooms along with use of natural light in ballrooms
- Lower water-usage bath and shower fixtures in guestrooms
- Usage of recycled water for landscaping
- Co-op with local farmers, plus on-site herb garden
- Organic and vegetarian menu options
- Vegan spa products
- Guest education on the resort’s conservation program
- Recycling bins in occupied meeting rooms
